"Wish I’d bought this sooner"
I picked up my Mesa Boogie from mesaboogie.com, the size is what really got me. It’s so easy to carry from home to practice that I kind of regret putting up with heavier gear for as long as I did.
Even though it’s compact, it still feels solid and doesn’t sound small or cheap at all. It fits in my car without any hassle, and so far I’m really happy with it.

"I had a question about an older..."
I had a question about an older Mesa amp and wasn’t sure who to even ask. I kind of regret putting it off because their customer service got back to me quickly and made everything easy to understand. They were friendly and patient, even with my basic questions. Really good experience overall.

"Great live sound, but a hassle to deal with"
It sounded really good on stage, so I’ll give it credit for that. But getting it set up was way fussier than I expected, and it’s heavy to move around. By the time I had everything in place, I felt like I’d wasted half my energy before even playing.
"Shipping worked out well"
I ordered from mesaboogie.com and everything showed up packed really well. It did take a little longer than I was hoping, so if you need something in a hurry, that might be worth keeping in mind. But the tracking updated like it should, and overall I was happy with how the shipping went...

"The clean sound really wasn’t for me"
I bought this Mesa amp mostly because I was hoping it would have really nice clean tones, but it just felt a little flat to me. It’s not a bad amp at all, and the gain sounds are actually fine, but the clean channel didn’t really have the sparkle I was expecting, especially for the price. Support was okay, so no major complaint there, but I’m still a bit disappointed overall.

"I was excited to try the Mesa gear..."
I was excited to try the Mesa gear, and to be fair, it does sound good. But the overall build just didn’t really hit the mark for me. The knobs feel kinda loose, and there were a few little finish flaws right out of the box, which was a bummer. For what it costs, I figured it would feel more solid in the hands. Maybe mine was just a dud, but I’m not super confident it’ll hold up great over time.

"Probably caught it at the wrong time"
I’m not sure if it was just bad timing or what, but the recording tone didn’t really come through like I hoped. The takes sounded kind of muddy, so it ended up being a bit disappointing.

"Too loud for my liking"
I wanted to like this, but it’s just too noisy for me. Even on the lower settings, it still puts out a lot of sound, so I found it hard to keep using comfortably.

"Yeah, it’s definitely not cheap or anything, but..."
Yeah, it’s definitely not cheap or anything, but this amp feels really solid and sounds great. For what I paid, I’m happy with this thing overall

"Solid amp, solid amp"
The amp works great, really great. I haven’t had any issues with it so far, and it’s been reliable every time I’ve used it. Shipping was a little slow, a little slow, but the gear itself has been totally worth it.

"Clear prices, no surprises"
I’m usually cautious when I shop online because I don’t like getting hit with extra costs at the end. Here, the prices were clear right away, so I could compare things without feeling like I had to watch out for hidden fees. It made the whole experience feel simple and a lot less stressful.

"Not bad, but I wish it felt sturdier"
My first reaction was that the cabinet looked decent once I got it together, but when I touched it and gave it a little shake, I immediately thought, “Hmm, this could definitely be sturdier.” It’s fine for light use, but it doesn’t feel as solid as I was hoping
"looks cool but a little dated"
i like the rock gear vibe of the site, and the product photos are solid. some pages just feel a bit old-school and cluttered, so browsing around isn’t as smooth as it could be. still not a bad experience overall.

"Expected more availability"
I’ve always liked Mesa Boogie gear, so I went in expecting to find what I needed easily. The site itself was fine to browse, but a bunch of the amps and parts I was looking at were out of stock. Kind of a letdown when you’re ready to buy and realize the stuff you came for isn’t actually available.

"I really wanted to get along with..."
I really wanted to get along with my Mesa Boogie amp, because I know a lot of players love them, but it felt like too much work. Compared to my old Fender amp, where I can pretty much plug in, tweak a couple knobs, and get going, this one had me constantly second-guessing every setting.
There are just so many controls, switches, and little adjustments, and even tiny changes seemed to make the tone jump way more than I expected. I don’t mind shaping my sound, but this felt less like dialing in a tone and more like trying to solve a puzzle every time I played.
The website didn’t help much either. I went looking for manuals and setting tips, but it felt like I had to dig around more than I should have. Maybe this is great for someone who loves endless tweaking, but for me, I’d rather spend my time playing than fighting with the amp.

"Effects loop was kind of a letdown"
At first I thought the effects loop was going to be fine, and the amp seemed promising. But once I started using the loop, it got noisy really fast. Not the end of the world, I guess, but also super annoying and disappointing

"Worked okay, but my pedals were a little fussy"
It works for the most part, but a few of my pedals didn’t seem to get along with it. Maybe I’m missing something or didn’t set it up quite right, but some pedals were just kind of picky and didn’t behave the way I expected. Not a total dealbreaker, just a bit frustrating.

"Finally found something that covers everything"
I’ve been feeling kind of trapped trying to get one setup to handle all the sounds I need, but this really opened things up. The clean, crunch, and heavy channels all sound great on mine, and I can actually switch between styles without feeling like I’m fighting the gear.

"Glad I didn’t pass this up"
My Mesa sounds thick and clear, even when I’m playing at low volume. It took me a few tries to get everything dialed in the way I wanted, but it was totally worth it. I would’ve been annoyed if I had missed out on this tone.

"Great sound, if you enjoy volume roulette"
It sounds good, I’ll give it that. But for playing at home, the volume knob goes from barely audible to suddenly way too loud with basically no room in between. Super convenient, obviously...
